Big Weekend!

Hello!

On Sunday 24th May I went to the Radio 1's Big Weekend in Norwich :)
It was amazing and I vlogged a lot throughout the day.
Here is the vlog I uploaded on my YouTube channel --

and here are some photos I took through the day (although I did take more videos than photos!)
the entrance.

Olly! we were reasonably far away at this point

Rita Ora!!

Catfish and the Bottlemen were actually very good, and grateful to be on the main stage.

the lead singer in Imagine Dragons came so close to us :)
they were actually really good, I'd see them again x
(a screenshot from my vlog because I filmed it when they came really close ahh)

George Ezra

How close we got to the front! (and some random guy that kept photo bombing all our photos haha)

not something you put on snapchat everyday...!

we did have a really good view as we were in the 4th/5th row, but the photos didn't come out too well (mostly because she was wearing silver so kept appearing completely white on my camera aha)

(screenshot from my vlog)

Taylor Swift was amazing! And she performed Love Story which I was really happy about, because I wanted her to but didn't know she actually would.

Nick Grimshaw introducing the foos!

this is a screenshot I took from my video! Dave Grohl came so close...and I TOUCHED HIM < yes I will never get over that ;)

we were sooo close to the Foo Fighters (2nd row!) and it was incredible! Taylor Swift was better than everyone before her, but I must admit that the foos were then better than everyone before them! - sorry Taylor, still a swiftie.... but the foos were amazing!!

and I TOUCHED DAVE GROHL'S HAIR!! As you all probably know already because I have literally tld everyone. I was so shocked haha, the whole day was amazing and I wish I could just do it all again!!

I also hope you've enjoyed the vlog, please let me know if you'd lke me to vlog more often because I did enjoy it!

Stay tuned!

Memoirs of a Christmas Day

It seems as though Christmas was absolutely ages ago...turns out exactly one month ago, it was Christmas Day :) Today I thought I would remember Christmas, and show you how my day went.

So as soon as I woke up (at about 10am) I grabbed my camera and new lens I got Christmas Eve, let the cats in my room and tried testing out some photos to see how the lens effected my photos :)

On Snowball I tested out using f/1.8, and then using an aperture of f/5.6 which is most likely what my previous lenses would use.

Then I tested out the same thing with my lens cap, and here I think you can really tell the difference of how the smaller aperture effects the photo.

I then went downstairs and got some cereal, but was very surprised to see just how many presents there were. We were basically all expecting to have no presents to open. me - I got a new laptop a few months ago with some early christmas money going towards it, another remainder of my money went towards my holiday, and whats left I wanted to save.

After I had eaten and got changed, while I was waiting to open some more presents, I grabbed my camera again to test some more photos (yes I do love my camera and use it a lot !)

Here are some photos I took throughout the day :)

I do love my nanny :) ^

And of course we also had the fun that all dog owners have, attempting to take some cute photos of a dog in a santa hat while putting it on their head, and hoping it will stay there, and trying to get them to look at the camera whilst they aren't ripping it off their head... hmm... that'll work !

I carried everything up to my room - In one journey of course - You have to grab tons of stuff in your arms and struggle up the stairs carrying it all, before plonking it all down in your room - anyone else do this?

I then had a lovely meal (three bird roast and gammon) and we sat down for the afternoon to watch Skyfall. I can't exactly remember what happened to the evening, but I think we watched another film?

Crystal opening her Christmas present!

Stay tuned!
